When I first saw the story "Lost in The Woods" I thought of the musical that recently came out titled "Into The Woods." It did not take long to realize that this story was inspired by Hansel and Gretel. The author included a lot of descriptive details and wonderful pictures to take the reader on an adventure. The story was very well organized. The adventures were broke down into different chapters and titled to reflex were the characters were at within their adventure. If you need help organizing your own story Lost in The Woods is an excellent example. Follow the link below to read this story an take an amazing adventure. Dangers of the Forest

Isn't that a great project? It is REALLY dramatic and the author used all kinds of little details that connect and recur from one story to the next so that even though each story can stand on its own, the whole thing fits together with a dramatic conclusion and lots of suspense. That is one of the things you can do with a Storybook project: the separate stories can create a larger narrative of their own. That's one of the things you'll be thinking about in a few weeks when you decide what kind of class project you want to do. :-)
